A well known Irish not for profit is looking to hire a Finance Manager for a 12 month contract. Based in Dublin, this role offers excellent flexibility with the ability to work from home 3 - 4 times per week. This client are looking to hire a Finance Manager ensuring the smooth operation of the Finance Department. Salary range for this role is circa €70,000 - €72,000.
Key Responsibilities of the Finance Manager
* Team Management:
Lead and develop a team of three direct reports while collaborating closely with the Financial Accountant.
* Financial Processes & Reporting:
Ensure robust financial processes and assist with monthly reporting packs and analysis.
* Process Development:
Drive finance-led projects focused on enhancing systems and processes for greater efficiency.
* Business Partnering:
Build strong relationships across teams to support financial knowledge development and alignment of processes.
* Regulatory Compliance:
Maintain a strong financial control environment, support audits, review policies, and ensure compliance with legislation.
Key requirements of the Finance Manager
* Professional accounting qualification.
* Minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
* Demonstrated success in delivering systems or process improvements.
* At least 2 years of team management experience.
* Proficiency in accounting software and CRM systems.
* Strong MS Excel skills.
* Experience managing internal audits.
* Familiarity with Business Central (or Navision), MS Dynamics, Power-BI.
* Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas/automation).
* Experience in the not-for-profit sector.
