Key Account Manager
Excel Recruitment is seeking a Key Account Manager for our client who specialises in the Home, Garden & DIY industry. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Dublin, offering a dynamic opportunity to join a modern, forward-thinking business with a strong legacy and entrepreneurial spirit.
Responsibilities
1. Be the main contact for clients, building long-term relationships.
2. Manage and grow key retail accounts both in-store and online.
3. Identify new business opportunities to meet revenue targets.
4. Share market trends and insights regularly.
5. Present new product developments to retailers.
6. Maintain client relationships through regular meetings.
7. Use best practices in sales forecasting and pipeline management.
8. Collaborate with internal teams (buying, design, merchandising) to meet client needs.
9. Achieve sales and margin targets.
10. Coordinate daily operations to ensure excellent customer service.
11. Develop and deliver joint business and promotional plans.
12. Handle administrative tasks to support marketing, launches, and stock levels.
