To finish the emergency department admissions procedure for patients.
A thorough hospital admittance and treatment plan recorded in the medical file are examples of this, but they are not the only ones.To accompany the medical staff on their daily ward rounds.
Turn over patients from the previous shift to the registrar so that judgments may be made right away and orders can be written, ensuring continuity of care.
To regularly assess patients in compliance with the treatment plan established at the start of the shift and report any concerns or difficulties to the doctor.RequirementsAn MRCP or its equivalent is preferred.
Currently registered with the Irish Medical Council in full.
