Job Description

We are looking for a talented I&C Engineer II to join our team at our office located in Dublin or Cork, Ireland.
In this role, you will provide the IPS project team with technical and automation expertise for the design, engineering, and construction of pharmaceutical and biotech-related projects.
What You'll Do
* Provide automation engineering support for moderate to complex process engineering projects.
* Develop automation User Requirements Specifications (URS) based on customer needs.
* Collaborate with process design and project teams to support successful project studies.
* Design and specify DCS, PLC, and SCADA-based process control systems for IPS clients and projects.
* Work with clients to develop control systems concepts, architectures, and platforms.
* Identify and collaborate with third-party system integrators.
* Prepare or review construction budgets based on project scope.
* Promote and develop company design and production standards.
* Support business development activities, including proposals and presentations.
* Assist in process engineering development of P&ID and control requirements.
* Coordinate with end users and OEMs on automation products.
* Support risk assessments like SIL, LOPA, and HAZOP.
* Participate in IQ/OQ development, systems analysis, validation, and verification.

Qualifications & Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
* 10+ years of experience with industrial process control systems, including 5 years in pharmaceutical instrumentation.
* Proficiency in engineering design programs and CAD.
* Experience with cGMP and GAMP automation lifecycle documents.
* Excellent interpersonal skills for dealing with senior contacts.
Preferred Qualifications
* Registered Professional Engineer.
