We’re hiring a Japanese speaking Compliance Analyst to play a key role in protecting the integrity of our platform by identifying and investigating potentially suspicious or illegal activity. You will work with complex datasets and regulatory frameworks to ensure compliance with global obligations.
Responsibilities include:
* Applying analytical techniques to complex data sets to develop recommendations for reporting cases to regulatory authorities.
* Conducting reviews of suspicious or illegal financial activities.
* Performing detailed analyses of potential AML or suspicious activity cases across jurisdictions.
* Assessing customer profiles and transaction data for compliance with policies and standards.
* Investigating illicit behavior using internal data and open-source tools.
* Documenting findings and preparing reports.
* Making informed decisions based on investigations.
Requirements:
* Language Proficiency: Fluent in Japanese and English, with strong grammar and syntax skills.
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, Criminal Justice, or related fields preferred.
* Investigative Experience: Experience in Fraud, AML, CDD, or EDD investigations.
* Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and write clear reports.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Time Management: Strong organizational skills.
* Content Review & Critical Thinking: Ability to evaluate sensitive material objectively and make risk-based decisions.
* Collaboration & Adaptability: Effective communication and openness to feedback.
