We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Solution Architect to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our architecture team, you will be responsible for delivering innovative IT solutions and exceptional support to our internal client base.

* In this role, you will partner with our agile teams to bring your solution architecture skills to assist in the design and delivery of various initiatives to support our business.
* As a senior-level individual contributor, you will work independently at a high level to provide process, guidance, and governance on technology obsolescence, component re-use, and platform modernization.
* You will design, document, and communicate solution designs that accommodate the Agile Principles of fail fast and provide the resilience necessary to accommodate changing and fluid requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
* Working with our partners to understand business and technology problems or opportunities;
* Providing process, guidance, and governance on technology obsolescence, component re-use, and platform modernization;
* Designing, documenting, and communicating solution designs that accommodate the Agile Principles of fail fast and provide the resilience necessary to accommodate changing and fluid requirements;
* Incorporating reuse, standardization, and security-by-design into your solution designs to simplify, secure, and accelerate technology delivery;
* Being innovative in your design thinking and using your expertise to influence the MMC technology roadmap;
* Taking your architectural designs through our onboarding processes to ensure they meet MMC's standards and conventions;
* Participating in architecture reviews as part of MMC's Architecture Assurance process;
* Supporting the implementation of architectural designs - from infrastructure setup through to delivery - as necessary;
* Providing support for our teams and business partners for cost estimations during budget cycles;
* Empowering the development teams to deliver your architectural designs with a light-touch approach;
* Being an involved member in our technology community, championing the latest technologies and trends within MMC and the wider industry, sharing your knowledge, successes, and learnings with your colleagues;
* Bringing a shift-left mentality, ensuring that automation and efficiencies are enabled through the solution design.
Requirements

* A self-motivated individual who excels in a position requiring effective collaboration with a remote team;
* Able to take initiative without waiting for direction;
* Experienced in working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines;
* Used to working and communicating with both business and technical stakeholders at varying levels of seniority;
* Extensive experience in designing and communicating technology solutions that can be traced back to requirements;
* An inquisitive mindset with a track record of seeking out and implementing new technologies and architectural patterns;
* Required AI Competency: AI Evolution & Business Impact: Analyze the evolution of AI technology and its implications for business strategies to identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency.
