Responsibilities:
Work with other departments in order to provide improvements and ideas in various areas.
Operate and control CNC Machinery and other equipment and develop new products when required and to actively use lean manufacturing tools.
Complete all relevant documentation that is required on a daily basis and make sure it is up to date.
Be able to program based on workshop drawings.
Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.
Optimize material usage using nesting software.
Undertake and develop machining processes, supporting engineers to deliver on demand project requirements.
Follow all Health & Safety rules and regulations that are set by the company.
Essential Criteria:
Have around 3 years' experience in a similar role undertaking similar tasks.
Experience in working a pod and rail CNC and also a flat table nesting CNC.
CNC Programming experience preferred.
Experience using nesting software, and AutoCAD preferred, but not essential
Ability to read engineering drawings.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively within a team.
Positive with a proactive approach to work.
