This is a hands-on leadership role, requiring responsibility for all aspects of daily farm operations and oversight of flat decks or farrowing, depending on allocation.Day-to-day responsibilities include:Feeding, serving, and caring for pigsAdministering vaccinations and maintaining veterinary recordsMoving pigs between housing unitsMonitoring and supporting several out farms (main base is on core site)Supervising daily farm tasks and allocating duties to workersOrdering supplies and coordinating maintenanceLoading pigs for transport to the factory (including 2am/3am starts twice weekly, rotated among workers and paid as overtime)The Company:A well-established, high-capacity livestock business committed to strong animal welfare, efficient operations, and high standards across its multi-site pig farming enterprise.
