An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant to join a Primary Care Team in South Dublin, supporting services across adult primary care, adult medical, and adult disability.
The successful candidate will work under the supervision of qualified Speech and Language Therapists, supporting the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care to adults with communication and swallowing difficulties.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience within a multidisciplinary primary care environment.
Key Responsibilities of the Speech and Language Therapy Assistant: Support Speech and Language Therapists in delivering assessment and intervention programmes Assist in implementing therapy plans for adults with communication and/or swallowing difficulties Prepare therapy materials and support the delivery of individual and group sessions Support patients with prescribed exercises and programmes as directed by the SLT Assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling and maintaining clinical records Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to support patient care Maintain a professional, respectful, and person-centred approach at all times Essential Criteria for the Speech and Language Therapy Assistant: Relevant qualification (e.g.
