This role involves carrying out microbiological monitoring in controlled cleanroom areas, performing environmental sampling, and maintaining strict adherence to aseptic techniques and cleanroom protocols.
The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating environmental deviations and ensuring all results meet quality expectations. They will also support manufacturing timelines with pre- and post-activity monitoring, complete precise documentation, and contribute to GMP compliance.
A key aspect of this role is participating in continuous improvement projects to drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carrying out microbiological monitoring in controlled cleanroom areas
* Performing environmental sampling (air, surfaces, compressed gases, ethanol, and water systems)
* Maintaining strict adherence to aseptic techniques and cleanroom protocols
* Investigating environmental deviations and ensuring all results meet quality expectations
* Supporting manufacturing timelines with pre- and post-activity monitoring
* Completing precise documentation and contributing to GMP compliance
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related life science field, and previous experience in a cleanroom or microbiology lab environment. They should possess working knowledge and experience of aseptic technique and GMP best practices, accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organisational skills. Additionally, they should have great team spirit, flexibility for shift-based work, and a proactive attitude. A desire to learn, develop, and take ownership of quality standards is essential.
