Production Manager Role
We are seeking a skilled Production Manager to oversee all molding operations and drive technical and operational enhancements in our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in injection molding, medical device manufacturing, and lean manufacturing principles.
About the Job
This role involves:
* Overseeing all molding operations and setting performance standards.
* Measuring results, analyzing workflow, and troubleshooting problems.
* Ensuring customer requirements are met and reviewing labor management.
* Developing and communicating plans to reduce scrap and improving product quality.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* At least 5 years of experience in an injection molding medical device manufacturing facility and general manufacturing operations in a similar high-volume production role.
* Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
* Able to analyze performance data and present actionable insights.
* A results-driven approach with a knack for problem-solving and continuous improvement.
* Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and techniques.
* BSc in Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.

Responsibilities
In addition to the above, you will also be responsible for:
* Adhering to and enforcing all safety procedures/policies.
* Maintaining a safe and clean environment.
* Reviewing and investigating all accident reports.
* Verifying compliance with all PM Management activities through our Maximo system.
* Tracking, monitoring, and verifying accuracy of RM, WIP, and FG inventories.

You will lead Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and liaise with cross-functional teams to maintain and improve customer satisfaction.
