Business at Slemish College
The Business Studies Department, at Slemish College, is highly successful, as evidenced by the consistently strong uptake of students and the outstanding results in public examinations, achieved each year. Currently the Department offers Business Communication Systems at GCSE Level, as well as Occupational Studies, Business and OCN NI Level 2 certificate in Skills for Business. At Post 16, the Department offers BTec Single Award Business.
The Governors are looking to appoint a dynamic, forward-thinking and successful practitioner, to contribute to this highly successful Department. The post brings a full time permanent contract. As with any appointment, Slemish College is committed to ongoing Professional Development and will support the successful candidate as they learn and develop in their career.
In addition to the work within the classroom, we are looking for candidates who are willing to contribute to the wider life of the school, either through activities beyond the Business classroom, or through our extra-curricular programme, Slemish Plus.
