Our client, a busy acute hospital in North-West Dublin, is seeking an experienced Grade IV Medical Secretary to support a frontline urgent-care service.
This is a patient-facing, clinic-based role requiring previous medical secretarial and hospital or clinic administration experience.
Medical Secretary Grade IV (Urgent Care, Hospital, North Dublin) €19.57 p/h Location: North-West Dublin Salary: €19.57 per hour Contract: Full-time, 35 hours across 4 days Working Pattern: Rostered over 7 days including weekends and out-of-hours; latest finish 8pm Key Responsibilities Provide front-of-house and clinic-based medical secretarial support Register and check in patients accurately and efficiently Manage clinic schedules, bookings and urgent-care workflows Prepare and maintain clinical documentation and correspondence Update patient records and ensure accurate data entry on hospital systems Liaise with consultants, nurses and multidisciplinary teams Respond professionally to patient and family queries Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times Essential Requirements Previous medical secretarial experience in a hospital, clinic or healthcare setting is essential, Candidates without this experience will not be considered.
Medical Secretarial qualification.
Current Garda Vetting Strong knowledge of medical administration and clinical workflows Excellent communication and organisational skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work calmly under pressure in a fast-paced setting Flexibility to work rotating shifts across a 7-day service Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and healthcare systems Desirable Requirements Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, OPD or admissions Familiarity with hospital patient management systems Medical terminology knowledge Strong team-working ability Apply Send your CV to Ben Higginsvia the link below 35 hours over 4 days.
