We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the properties within our portfolio are maintained to a high standard and meet all compliance regulations.

Our team is responsible for the management of a diverse portfolio of properties throughout Glasgow. We consist of general administration, maintenance workers, technicians, painters, and joiners working together to provide exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

* Ensure maintenance in void and tenanted properties meets all compliance regulations
* Maintain a safe and functional environment for our team and the people we support
* Follow planned work schedules to achieve efficient results and improve productivity
* Deliver high-quality work standards across the property estate with ongoing improvements
* Collaborate closely with team members sharing best practices and knowledge
* Lead proactive problem-solving and innovation to identify and develop solutions for common issues
* Drive complex tasks to completion while advising key stakeholders as needed
* Utilize mobile technology to streamline workflow and updates
* Support the delivery of key metrics through practical skills application
* Meet PPM schedule requirements

Reporting and Compliance:

* Adhere consistently to relevant policies and procedures ensuring best practice and legal compliance
* Report any health and safety concerns or incidents using designated mechanisms
* Use our internal Housing Management System to log time, materials, and consumables used in duties
* Comply with Health & Safety legislation and guidelines
* Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
* Comply with external agency requirements

Team Collaboration:

* Develop and maintain excellent communication and working relationships with line managers, colleagues, contractors, and individuals supported
* Work cooperatively as part of a team demonstrating commitment to shared objectives
* UpHold professional integrity with colleagues and other providers
* Establish clear professional boundaries at all times
* Proactively engage in personal development using feedback and identifying own objectives

Requirements:

* Experience in a maintenance, engineering, or construction environment
* Equivalent ONC qualification or higher
* Ability to plan and organize workload with competing demands and deadlines
* Valid UK driving license an essential requirement

What to Expect:

* 35-hour workweek, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm
* Main place of work: Rosemount Business Park, Glasgow, G21, with regular travel to property locations
* Annual leave entitlement rising pro-rata per year
* Automatic enrollment into People's Pension after completing three months of employment
* Cycle-to-work scheme available
* Option to purchase/sell annual leave
