Senior Equipment Maintenance Engineer
Are you interested in working at one of Ireland's longest-established high-tech manufacturing facilities?
Analog Devices International, a leading semiconductor company specializing in high-performance analogue, mixed-signal, and digital signal processing ICs, is recruiting an Equipment Maintenance Engineer.
At our Limerick site, we manufacture integrated circuits used across various electronics sectors, from industrial to consumer devices.
This role is based in our cleanroom class 10 wafer fabrication facility. The successful candidate will:
1. Support daily operations of the semiconductor manufacturing facility with skills in problem-solving, troubleshooting, and root cause failure analysis.
2. Lead cross-functional teams in continuous improvement initiatives using data-driven analysis.
3. Drive continuous improvement of KPIs such as equipment availability, MTTR, and MTBF.
The role offers exposure to electronics, high vacuum, pneumatics, and robotics. Prior experience with specific equipment such as applied material implanters, Axcellis implanters, ASM furnaces, Nikon steppers, and others is advantageous but not essential.
The position is Monday to Friday.
The ideal candidate will have:
* An Ordinary Bachelor’s degree (NFQ Level 7) or Honours Bachelor’s degree (NFQ Level 8).
* 6-10 years of experience as a maintenance technician or engineer, preferably in a regulated environment or semiconductor industry.
* Strong troubleshooting skills, including root cause analysis and 8D problem solving.
* Experience following preventative maintenance and standard work procedures.
* Desirable: prior experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
