You will lead project teams, build strong client relationships, and ensure meticulous planning, cost control, and delivery for some of Ireland's most significant infrastructure developments.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership: Take the lead on all aspects of major infrastructure projects and programmes.Cost & Programme Management: Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and forecasts.Contract Administration: Administer complex contracts, including procurement, tendering, and the diligent valuation and negotiation of variations and claims.Risk Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks throughout the project lifecycle.Reporting: Prepare accurate and insightful project reports for internal and client stakeholders.Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise effectively with clients, design teams, contractors, and other project managers, acting as a trusted advisor.Team Leadership: Mentor and support junior members of the team, contributing to their professional development.What You'll BringExtensive Experience: Proven experience (typically 7+ years) as an Infrastructure Project Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor within a construction consultancy in Ireland.Sector Expertise: A strong background with direct experience on major infrastructure projects, such as transport, civils, or water.Commercial Acumen: Exceptional commercial awareness, strong analytical and numerical skills, with a meticulous eye for detail.Contractual Proficiency: Expert knowledge of relevant standard forms of contract (e.g., FIDIC, NEC) and procurement strategies in the Irish market.Communication & Negotiation: Superior communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, capable of managing complex stakeholder relationships.Qualifications: A relevant degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
