Job Title: Reinsurance Specialist Location: Dublin City Working Model: Hybrid Abrivia are currently recruiting for a Reinsurance Specialist to join our client's reinsurance function.
This is a broad, hands-on role within a small team environment, offering exposure across the full reinsurance lifecycle and the opportunity to develop long-term within a specialist area of insurance.
Your Role Support the end-to-end management of the reinsurance process, from placement through to ongoing administration and reporting Assist with underwriting-related reinsurance activity and liaise with brokers and reinsurers as required Contribute to reinsurance accounting, returns and related documentation Support governance, compliance and internal reporting requirements linked to reinsurance Work closely with internal stakeholders across underwriting, finance and risk Maintain accurate records and contribute to process improvement initiatives within the reinsurance function Develop technical knowledge of non-life reinsurance structures and market practices Your Skills Previous exposure to reinsurance, underwriting or a related insurance discipline Understanding of reinsurance fundamentals and how reinsurance operates within an insurance business Strong attention to detail and willingness to work across both technical and administrative elements of the role Positive attitude, strong work ethic and eagerness to learn and progress within reinsurance Ability to work effectively within a small, collaborative team Insurance qualification or progress towards one is advantageous Analytical mindset and comfort working with data and reporting Should this position be of interest to you please call Tadhg at.
