About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Site Engineer to join our team on a brand-new development project in Co. Meath.
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting out and checking works as required, ensuring all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic engineer who is confident reading and interpreting drawings and setting out using total station equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Setting out and checking works to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations.
* Performing quality checks on completed works to guarantee high standards.
* Liaising with sub-contractors and site personnel to plan daily tasks and projects.
* Supervising multiple trades on site and acting as a point of contact for subbies, architect, and client.
* Ensuring H&S standards are met and adhered to on site.
* Supporting the Project Manager to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
* Maintaining excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors, and site personnel.
Requirements:
* A Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
* 3+ years' experience working with a Main Contractor in ROI.
* Must have experience dealing with Irish Water.
* Ability to use setting out instruments and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination.
