Business Development Manager
We are delighted to be recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join our dynamic and growing company in the bakery and food FMCG sector.
Job Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity to drive business growth across retail, wholesale, and foodservice channels, helping to expand market presence and customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and secure new business opportunities within retail, wholesale, and foodservice sectors
* Manage and grow relationships with existing accounts to maximise revenue
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity to adapt sales strategy
* Represent the business at trade events and customer meetings across NI
* Maintain and develop a strong sales pipeline and meet or exceed sales targets
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven track record in a business development or sales role within food FMCG, ideally within the bakery/fresh food sector
* Strong negotiation and account management skills
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
* Experience working with retail multiples and/or foodservice clients
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required
