Accounting Manager Europe

The Accounting Manager oversees accounting functions in Europe, managing operations across Ireland, Northern Ireland, UK, and mainland Europe. Key responsibilities include leading regional accounting, financial reporting, monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and ad-hoc management analysis.

* Ensure timely and accurate production of financial statements.
* Conduct financial analysis to support corporate finance and understand actual results and performance drivers.
* Support the team with ad-hoc requests to assist in valuation of financial performance and costs.

The Accounting Manager collaborates with leadership to drive key initiatives and maintain alignment across the local team.

* Partner with the local leadership team to support financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance evaluation.
* Assist with office administration from an administrative standpoint.
* Oversee statutory financial reporting requirements and government compliance reporting including VAT.
* Support preparation and achievement of the annual plan/budget, understanding variance drivers.
