What We are Looking For
The purpose of this role is to be a key resource on all NPD/EPD and Operation technical support projects across all sites from recipe development & project management in the winning of new business and retention of existing contracts in Retail & Professional sectors for both Brand and Private label.
What You will Do
* Manage Projects within the NPD framework on Brand /Private label within manufacturing portfolio across Retail & professional
* Packaging & Product problem solving for
* Value Improvement Project Technical/Process Lead for manufacturing initiatives
* Operational Projects Technical
* Recipe development and costing on Innovation / Renovation
* Organization & Leading Taste Panels & Benchmarking (internal /external).
* Issue resolution with PL customers on existing products
* Creation of Validation of Product Specifications – own label & brand.
* Specification Validation – Raw Materials/Packaging & Finished
* Production Validation of recipes/packaging and
* Supplier Development/Research-Ingredients and Packaging [Raw Material Support for Purchasing].
* Pack copy Preparation & Sign off – All NPD/EPD [Regulatory & nutritional profiles].
* Risks Assessments in conjunction with QA on all factory inputs.
* Shelf Life Testing and [ Raw materials, Finished products and packaging ]
* IFS (ERP System) Product Set-Up on Existing
* Key contact for NPD – for manufacturing
* Support on all Customers
What You will Have
* Third level qualification in a food or science related discipline
* Passion for food and excitement for bringing viable ideas to life
* Relevant experience in the development of new, innovative and Commercial food & Beverages
* Creative and commercially astute
* Previous experience in Retail/Foodservice focused NPD
* Process driven with strong project management skills
