Great opportunity for a Lab Supervisor, QC to join a leading Vaccines company in the Northwest of Ireland. The Lab Supervisor will oversee all quality control testing in the lab—covering physical, chemical, and virology analyses—ensuring accuracy, compliance, and regulatory standards. The role includes leading QC analysts, conducting audits, and driving continuous quality improvements.
Overview of your responsibilities (full job description available on request):
* Oversee daily QC lab operations in line with company procedures and regulatory standards
* Train, support, and assess lab staff performance
* Create and maintain SOPs to uphold quality standards
* Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth workflows
* Review and approve test results for product batch release
* Monitor and resolve SOP or compliance deviations
* Implement corrective actions to prevent future issues
* Ensure full compliance with EU GMP regulations
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required for the Role:
* Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Science, Biology, Chemistry or related field
* At least 5 years’ experience in a QC lab
* Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or management role
