YOUR DAY TO DAY LIFE
We are looking for a Relief Van Driver in Athgarvan Road, Newbridge, Co. Kildare, Newbridge W12W951 IRL. Your mission will be to:
* Transport clean, sealed samples from various food producers around Ireland to our Laboratory in Newbridge
* Plan out your routes in advance and ensure you meet delivery deadlines
* Ensure the safe loading and unloading of goods
* Report any accidents, violations, or defects in your vehicle to the Customer Operations Manager or designate
* Responsible for completing daily documentation to ensure delivery records are up to date
* Liaise with customers and colleagues in a friendly and positive manner
* Comply with company policies, procedures and road safety regulations
* Be flexible in your role to deal with unexpected challenges calmly and efficiently
YOUR PROFILE
* A full, clean Irish driving licence
* Detailed knowledge of the road safety regulations
* Ability to load and unload goods to and from the van, the typical weight of products will be 1 - 15kg
* Excellent customer service and presentation skills
* Ability to use and read Sat-Nav systems
* A team player with the ability to work on your own initiative
* The ability to adapt to unexpected situations such as inclement weather or heavy traffic
