Job Description
As a Clinical Statistician, you will be a key contributor to our clinical development programs.
You will work closely with physicians, clinical research scientists, and medical colleagues to develop protocol designs, clinical plans, and data analysis plans that meet the needs of patients and business stakeholders.
The Clinical Project Statistician is responsible for collaborating with research associates and scientists to establish a reporting database and analyzing data for clinical studies.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Statistical Trial Design and Analysis: Provide input on study protocol, design studies, and write protocols for the conduct of each study.
* Collaborate with data sciences in the planning and implementation of data quality assurance plans.
* Maintain currency with respect to statistical methodology and perform peer-review of work products from other statistical colleagues.
* Communicate study results via regulatory submissions, manuscripts, or oral presentations in group settings.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in statistics or biostatistics, with a Master's or Ph.D. degree. You should also have at least 5 years of experience in clinical trial design and analysis.
Proficient in statistical programming languages/software such as SAS, R, Spotfire, and WinBUGS. Excellent interpersonal communication skills for effective customer consultation.
Teamwork and leadership skills, technical expertise, and self-management skills with a focus on results for timely and accurate completion of competing deliverables.
