Precia Molen Ireland is a leading supplier of industrial weighing equipment to the pharmaceutical, feed/grain, construction, and waste industries.

We are currently seeking a Purchasing & Stores Assistant to join our team and support the efficient operation of our purchasing, stores, and administrative functions. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth flow of materials, information, and documentation across the business. While primarily administrative, the position also includes occasional warehouse duties during peak activity or to provide cover.

Key Responsibilities

Purchasing Support

* Create and manage purchase requests and orders based on the requirements.
* Request, track, and follow up on supplier quotations and deliveries.
* Maintain supplier files, pricing, lead times, and purchasing data.
* Ensure accuracy of purchasing documentation and maintain digital records.

Administration

* Provide administrative support to the purchasing and stores functions.
* Process inbound/outbound logistics documentation.
* Prepare outbound delivery documentation, coordinate transport and communicate delivery updates to customers.
* Generate weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reporting (stock, purchasing, deliveries, etc.).

Stores & Stock Management

* Support day-to-day stock management, including stock movements and queries.
* Help maintain an organised, accurately labelled stores area.
* Participate in weekly and periodic stock counts and investigate discrepancies.

Candidate Competencies

Required

* Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word.
* Strong communication and organizational abilities.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively.
* Work in a multitask environment
* Ability to work well within a small team and support multiple departments.
* Proactive and solutions-focused approach to daily tasks.

Preferred

* Previous experience in purchasing or logistics.
* SAP ByD or ERP system experience.
