Chemical EngineerContract6-12 monthsCork - onsite 5 days a weekHourly rate: 60-70 per hourDegree qualification in Chemical ProcessEngineering.Experience in Piping and Instrumentation Drawing PNIDAt least 5 years experience in Chemical Engineering. Equipment availability and reliability/Supply: Responsible for ensuring that plant installed as part ofProjects is designed to ensure equipment reliability and availability while meeting cost constraints.Reports into Project Team LeaderHas the following roles reporting into this position:External design consultants.Ensure that reliability is considered when scoping projects and selecting equipment.Consider and include maintainability in plant and design.Standardise equipment selection and design as much as possible to ensure ease of maintenance.Equipment availability and reliability (supply):Reliability incorporated in plant designCost/FinanceCost/Finance: Manage project within approved budget and comply with Finance policiesScope and design projects to provide 'fit for purpose' good value solutions to problems. Challenge the client, EHS,Project Engineer and external consultants when needed to achieve this.Provide a sufficiently detailed scope when submitting CPA so that all stakeholders understand the basis for the budget.Provide technical direction to Project Engineers and consultants to minimise unnecessary time and money spentduring the design process.Standardise plant design within a plant and across the site to achieve consistent technical solutions to problems so thatdesigns can be re-used and costs minimised. .Do not deviate from approved scope without following change control approval (ANOC).Approved scope with all CPAs.Quality: QARs raised against projectsEHS:No incidents or injuries related to projectsActions closed by due dateSII and local investigations completed by due dateSafety Audits complete per scheduleSQE ParticipationQuality: Responsible for adherence to all quality standards within EngineeringFollow the quality requirements as laid out in the project lifecycle at all times.Maintain project electronic files up to date through-out the lifecycle of the project.Lead project related QARsDegree qualification in Chemical ProcessEngineering.Take part in the development and update of the project lifecycle.Ensure that proposed designs are robust and safe.Comply with EHS and Engineering procedures to ensure project delivers a safe plant.Lead project related SII's.Lead team in maintaining SQE standardsDesired Skills and ExperienceChemical EngineerContract6-12 monthsCork - onsite 5 days a weekHourly rate: 60-70 per hourDegree qualification in Chemical ProcessEngineering.Experience in Piping and Instrumentation Drawing PNIDAt least 5 years experience in Chemical Engineering.
