Senior Maintenance Supervisor Role Overview
A seasoned leader is required to oversee a team of skilled technicians and engineers in delivering a high-performance maintenance program within a state-of-the-art facility.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the leadership and management of the maintenance team, ensuring operational objectives are met through the delivery of a robust and efficient maintenance program.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leadership and management of the maintenance team to ensure seamless operations.
* Ensure Preventive Maintenance activities are completed on schedule and to a high standard.
* Oversight of timely execution of Corrective Maintenance, minimizing equipment downtime and maximizing overall equipment effectiveness.
* Monitor, report, and act on key performance metrics, including Equipment Uptime, Mean Time To Failure (MTTF), and Mean Time To Repair (MTTR).
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance function, using lean tools and root cause analysis to improve processes and performance.
* Foster a culture of development through structured upskilling, technical training, and mentoring of technicians and engineers.
Requirements:
* Level 8 Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
* Minimum of 6 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, with ideally 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
* Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment highly advantageous.
* Proven technical background in maintenance of production equipment, ideally within medical device, pharmaceutical, or high-tech manufacturing sectors.
* Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop diverse technical teams.
