Financial Reporting Analyst
Key roles
The Financial Reporting Analyst will play a pivotal role within the financial reporting and analysis team, responsible for the accounting, reporting, and analysis of the business.
Responsibilities

Own the General Ledgers and ensure the accuracy of all financial data.
Assist the FR&A Manager in supervising Accounts Assistants and review processes for efficiency.
Oversee Accounts Assistants when necessary and manage month-end processes.
Present financial statements at month-end and ensure the accuracy of key financial reporting outputs.
Partner with stakeholders to ensure timely transaction of revenue and costs into the finance system.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and support reporting deadlines.
Conduct profit and loss analysis, manage intercompany accounts, and liaise with external tax consultants.
Assist in preparing statutory financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and tax returns.
Lead process and system improvements, manage audit processes, and handle ad hoc projects.

Qualifications and skills

Part-qualified or hold a finance qualification.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards, experience with SAP preferred.
Excellent communication skills, collaborative, and able to work under pressure.
Proficient in MS Excel and financial systems, with a high attention to detail.
Strong tax knowledge and ethical standards.
