Morgan McKinley is responsible for managing a high volume weekly payroll across Ireland and the UK, where data is collated from multiple sources and distributed to external payroll providers for processing within tight timelines. The Finance Support team also handles Accounts Payable for the Group. This role is key in supporting both payroll and accounts payable activities, involving interactions with numerous internal and external stakeholders, including communication with our team in Mahe, India, in their local language. The position is highly visible within the Group due to its extensive touchpoints.

We seek a well-organized finance professional capable of managing two work streams, meeting tight deadlines, maintaining excellent attention to detail, and speaking Malayalam at a professional level.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Support the accounts payable process.
2. Serve as the point of contact for accounts payable queries, liaising between the team in Mahe, India (in Malayalam), and suppliers (in English).
3. Verify and confirm all bank details, including new and changed details, by contacting suppliers via phone.
4. Review and create supplier payments for bank submission.
5. Process high-volume weekly payroll.
6. Handle candidate tax or payroll queries.
7. Liaise with external providers as needed.
8. Coordinate with our support team in Mahe, India.
9. Request P.45s, P.60s, and other statutory documentation.
10. Collaborate with other Finance team members (e.g., Credit Control, Reporting Team) on payroll issues.
11. Complete statutory returns as required.
12. Perform any ad hoc requests.


Essential Requirements:

* Leaving Cert or equivalent qualification.
* Experience with timesheet and billing systems in the recruitment industry.
* Advanced Excel skills.
* Experience and working knowledge of Giant system.
* Understanding of how timesheets and finance systems interact.
* 2-3 years of global accounts payable processing experience.
* 2-3 years of high-volume weekly payroll processing experience in the UK and Ireland recruitment industry.
* Experience managing new starters and leavers in the system.
* Proven ability to meet tight deadlines.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working in a global organization and lean team environment.
* Fluency in English and Malayalam, both verbal and written, at a professional level.


Desirable Requirements:

* Postgraduate qualification (e.g., MSc in Corporate Finance).
* Professional payroll qualification (e.g., IPASS).


Additional Information:

* Minimum annual remuneration: €40,000.
* Location: Penrose Two, Penrose Dock, Victorian Quarter, Cork, T23 YY09.
* Hours per week: 37.5.
* Onsite requirement: 3 days per week.
* Applicants must have full working authorization for Ireland.
