This Dublin-based role offers an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned health and safety professional to take ownership of a robust HSEQ function across a busy and diverse portfolio. The successful candidate will champion a proactive safety culture, lead on compliance initiatives, and support operational teams in delivering service excellence while maintaining the highest health, safety, and environmental standards.
Responsibilities for Health & Safety Manager
1. Lead the implementation and ongoing improvement of Health & Safety and Food Safety policies across all service lines.
2. Provide operational teams with expert guidance on Occupational Health & Safety, including control measures and root cause analysis.
3. Support and embed safety culture change initiatives through training, engagement, and strategic planning.
4. Oversee performance management systems, risk registers, and business continuity plans across the account.
5. Ensure documentation, procedures, and local operating policies are site-specific and fully compliant.
6. Collaborate with client teams to maintain compliance, meet KPIs, and reduce incident rates across the district.
7. Deliver monthly and quarterly performance updates to senior stakeholders.
Requirements for Health & Safety Manager
8. Diploma-level qualification (or equivalent) in Occupational Health and Safety.
9. Chartered or Graduate Membership of IOSH.
10. Significant experience in a health & safety leadership role, ideally within a Hard FM or M&E environment.
11. Strong working knowledge of current Irish Health & Safety legislation and food safety systems including HACCP.
12. Demonstrated success in rolling out safety systems and behavioural change programmes.
13. Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
14. Proven ability to manage competing deadlines and drive continuous improvement in fast-paced environments.
