About the Role
As a Retail & Forecourt Assistant, you'll help us deliver exceptional customer experiences every day. You'll support store operations, maintain high standards of service and cleanliness, and ensure every customer leaves with a smile.
Your day will involve serving customers, handling transactions, restocking shelves, maintaining hygiene standards, and keeping our store welcoming and well-presented. Flexibility and teamwork are key.
What We're Looking For
* Over 18 (required due to alcohol sales)
* Previous retail or forecourt experience preferred
* A friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude
* Ability to follow instructions and learn quickly
* Strong people and communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and teamwork
* A positive work ethic and willingness to go the extra mile
Your Responsibilities
* Deliver outstanding customer service in a friendly, efficient manner
* Handle cash and card transactions accurately and responsibly
* Maintain store presentation – clean, tidy, and well-stocked at all times
* Follow all company, hygiene (HACCP), and health & safety standards
* Support stock management, merchandising, and waste minimisation
* Prepare and monitor food safely according to regulations
