The Radisson Blu Hotel, Cork are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Director of Sales to lead our sales function and drive revenue performance across all segments.This is a senior leadership role with real scope and visibility. You will be responsible for developing and executing the hotel’s sales strategy across Corporate, Meetings & Events, Food & Beverage, and Weddings, working closely with the General Manager and our Group Director of Sales. You’ll have the autonomy to shape how the hotel positions itself in the market, build and maintain key account relationships, and lead a commercially focused sales approach that delivers results both in the short term and over the longer horizon.As part of the iNUA Hotel Collection, you’ll have the support of a wider group infrastructure — including GSO partnerships, group sales initiatives, and a network of experienced hospitality professionals — while maintaining genuine ownership of your hotel’s commercial performance.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development and delivery of the hotel’s commercial strategy across Corporate, M&E, F&B, and Weddings segmentsOwn and grow a portfolio of top corporate transient and M&E accounts, ensuring strong retention and pipeline developmentDrive the hotel’s Corporate rate growth and M&E pricing strategiesWork proactively to grow direct corporate bookings and reduce OTA dependencyCo-ordinate marketing campaigns for M&E, F&B, and Weddings in partnership with GSO and Operations teamsSupport the General Manager and Finance Controller with weekly and monthly forecastingPlay an active role in the annual budgeting processRepresent the hotel at corporate events, trade shows, industry associations, and client functionsParticipate in the iNUA Hotel Collection group sales initiatives and projectsAbout YouYou’ll be an experienced hospitality sales professional with a proven track record in a senior hotel sales role. You know how to build and manage key accounts, navigate the RFP process, and translate commercial strategy into day-to-day sales activity.
