ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
EU/UK citizenship or the right to work in Ireland (mandatory)
Based in Cork or willing to commute daily
Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics
1–3 years of experience in a PQS (consultancy) or construction role
Strong technical knowledge and willingness to continue professional development
Interest in achieving Chartered status with SCSI, RICS, or equivalent (full support provided)

This is a Quantity Surveyor position with a Cork-based consultancy working on a wide range of projects.

Job Overview:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will support senior colleagues in cost management and contract administration across multiple projects.
You'll gain experience in client-facing work while developing the technical and commercial skills needed to progress within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with cost estimating and budget preparation
Support pre-contract cost planning and tender documentation
Prepare and check Bills of Quantities under supervision
Contribute to post-tender analysis and reporting
Assist with interim valuations, cost reporting, and final accounts
Attend site visits and project meetings as required
Provide general project support to senior team members
Qualifications & Skills:
Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar discipline
1–3 years of PQS/consultancy or construction experience
Working knowledge of Public Works Contracts (desirable but not essential)
Proficient in Microsoft Office and QS software tools
Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills
Eagerness to learn and develop within a consultancy environment
