The Assistant Private Dining Manager plays a pivotal role in the success of our Food & Beverage team.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Private Dining Manager, this key position is responsible for overseeing private dining rooms and ensuring seamless events. The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to deliver exceptional guest service at all times.
Main Responsibilities
* Guest Service Delivery: Provide outstanding service to guests, exceeding their expectations and upholding our hotel's five-star standards.
* Event Planning: Support the planning, organisation, and execution of all private dining events, working closely with clients to tailor their experience.
* Team Supervision: Supervise and train the Private Dining team to ensure consistent delivery of exceptional service.
* Feedback Handling: Handle guest feedback and requests promptly and professionally, responding to concerns and resolving issues efficiently.
* Operating Costs: Control operating costs while maintaining the highest service and quality standards, identifying areas for cost savings without compromising on excellence.
* Departmental Procedures: Assist in developing and implementing departmental procedures and standards, contributing to the growth and development of the team.
* Sales Promotion: Promote food and beverage sales, maximising up-selling opportunities and driving revenue growth.
* Daily Operations: Manage daily operations, including briefings, scheduling, and communication with all departments, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective teamwork.
* Recruitment and Training: Support the Private Dining Manager in recruitment, training, and performance reviews, contributing to the development of high-performing team members.
* Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene standards, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
