Purchasing and Inventory Specialist


Description:

This is a full-time, permanent position working cross-functionally to ensure customer needs are met. The Purchasing and Inventory Specialist will review customer needs, incoming orders, and historic trends through data analysis to plan material demand and set forecasts.


Key Responsibilities:

* Forecast demands for products at an individual SKU level using data analysis of historical trends along with information gathered from outside sales teams.
* Support logistical needs for importing and exporting goods to/from suppliers.
* Monitor incoming material deliveries, communicating delays to relevant departments.


Qualifications and Skills:

* A 3rd Level education in Statistics, Supply Chain or Engineering, or equivalent business experience.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, lean thinking, and statistical process control skills.
* Excellent planning and organizational skills.
