An established logistics and distribution company in
County Mayo
is hiring a
Warehouse / Logistics Manager
to lead and optimise day-to-day warehouse operations. This is a key leadership role for someone with strong operational experience, a hands-on approach, and excellent organisational skills.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily warehouse operations (receiving, storage, dispatch)
• Coordinate deliveries to ensure accurate, on-time fulfilment
• Improve warehouse processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs
• Manage inventory control and stock accuracy
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
• Lead, train, and develop the warehouse team
• Liaise with suppliers and third-party logistics partners
• Track KPIs and report to senior management
Requirements:
• 3+ years' experience in a warehouse or logistics management role
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Proficiency in warehouse systems and inventory control
• Valid Manual Handling Certificate
• Counterbalance Forklift Certificate (advantageous)
• Strong understanding of health and safety protocols
