Personal Lines Underwriter KennCo Underwriting Limited are currently recruiting for a Personal Lines Underwriter to join their team. Reporting to the Personal Lines Manager, you will work with your colleagues in a team of 7, as part of a hybrid role based in Rathfarnham, Dublin 16. Requirements: A minimum of 3 years experience in personal lines underwriting is essential. CIP qualified (ACII/FCII or other advanced qualifications are an advantage). In depth knowledge or motor and home policies and products. Knowledge and awareness of latest market trends and regulatory developments Have the ability to manage own workload and work to own initiative. Confidence to make independent decisions, based on your product knowledge and common sense Excellent customer service skills and telephone manner Proficient in all Microsoft Office Suites Duties: Serve as a referral point for brokers, providing expert guidance and support on insurance products Handle quotes, mid-term adjustments, and renewals for car, van, and home insurance products, primarily through phone and email communication Day to day queries with regard to rating, pricing and policy wording. Review pricing and rating on a regular basis to ensure consistency Build and maintain broker relationships to ensure you are providing the best service possible. Dealing with quotes, mid-term adjustments and renewals, by phone/e-mail Contribute to the company's success by consistently meeting performance targets and objectives Job Type: Full time, permanent, hybrid
