Assist qualified mechanics with servicing, maintenance, and repairs of vehicles and/or equipment
Perform basic mechanical tasks under supervision (oil changes, brake servicing, tyre rotation, inspections)
Learn to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using tools and diagnostic equipment
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop environment
Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times
Accurately complete job cards, service records, and apprenticeship documentation
Attend and successfully complete all required off-the-job training and assessments
Demonstrate initiative and a willingness to learn trade skills and best practices
Skills & Attributes
Strong interest in automotive mechanics and the mechanical trade
Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Good hand–eye coordination and attention to detail
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
Willingness to learn and take feedback
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Basic literacy and numeracy skills
Qualifications & Requirements
Enrolled in, or willing to commence, a recognised mechanical apprenticeship
Valid driver's license (or working toward one)
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, standing, and working with tools
