Drive the implementation of engineering best practices, ensuring high standards in coding, testing, and deployment.
Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business goals.
Oversee project planning, resourcing, and delivery within the development team.
Champion Agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of applications hosted on Azure.
Guide career development for team members through regular feedback and performance reviews.
Promote a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous learning within the team.
Experience Required Minimum 8 years' experience in software engineering with at least 3 years in a technical leadership or people management capacity.
Proven experience managing or leading teams in an enterprise environment.
Strong background in.
NET development and Azure cloud platforms.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile delivery methodologies.
Desirable Skills Familiarity with modern front-end technologies (React, Angular, etc.).
Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes).
Exposure to Dev Ops practices and tools.
Experience working with distributed systems and large-scale applications.
Educational Requirements Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline from a recognised third-level institution.
Working Hours & Benefits Salary Range: 100-120k plus bonus and pension and healthcare and many extras (total Package worth 150k) Hybrid working model with office presence in Dublin City Centre.
