Project Coordinator – GPOS Controls
Responsibilities
Support the successful delivery of Global Point of Sale (GPOS) Controls by coordinating complex project activities, driving planning excellence, and ensuring strong governance and delivery discipline.
Prepare governance reporting packs, track project status, risks, issues and dependencies, capture meeting minutes and monitor completion of actions.
Develop and maintain integrated project and programme plans, milestones, dependencies and deliverables, ensuring accurate updates in Planisware and POAP formats.
Proactively identify, track and elevate risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies through a centrally managed RAID log aligned across workstreams.
Operate structured change control processes, maintaining change request logs and managing impacts to scope, timeline and approvals.
Act as a trusted advisor to workstream leads, build strong stakeholder relationships and drive continuous improvement via automation (e.g., Copilot) and lessons learned.
Qualifications
2–5 years of experience supporting technology-enabled transformation programmes, with a strong grasp of software delivery lifecycles, project management methodologies and emerging technologies.
Hands-on experience using project management and delivery tools such as Planisware, Jira or Microsoft Project, alongside data analysis and reporting tools including Excel, Power BI or Tableau.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical and financial information to both technical teams and senior stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, enabling effective identification of issues and development of practical solutions in fast-paced environments.
Proven planning, organisation and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and deliver to agreed timescales.
Collaborative team player with the confidence to challenge constructively, complemented by desirable experience in Retail domains (e.g. Supply Chain, Digital, Store Operations) and project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, APM, Scrum Master or SAFe.
