About the Role
As the Software Engineering Lead, you will oversee and guide a team of software developers, manage sprints, and engage in high-level planning and design. Additionally, you will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project success.

Responsibilities:
* Writing and reviewing portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity.
* Working closely with other development team members to understand moderately complex product requirements and translate them into software designs.
* Mentoring and/or train entry-level software engineers as directed by department management.
* Managing and encourage new ideas from staff to foster improvements through innovations
* Serving as the initial point of escalation for software development issues within specific area of responsibility
Requirements:
* Have experience of proficient coding skills in Java, Spring Boot, J2EE.
* Be able to partner and lead internal and external technology resources in solving complex business needs.
* Have experience of managing Software Engineering teams, 121, upskilling and managing conflict.
* Be able to demonstrate proficiency with data manipulation language including optimization techniques.
* Be able to collaborate, support and drive team members to deliver on results, providing technical and professional guidance.
* Be able to design and work with complex data models.
* Have experience of High-Level Planning and running sprints.
