We are currently recruiting a Senior Aluminium Fabricator to join our team in Limerick. Walsh Windows is a family owned and run business that has been in operation in Limerick since 1970. The company currently supplies both uPVC and Aluminium solutions to both the domestic and commercial markets. Due to the current demands in the residential and the construction industry overall, we are processing more aluminium orders and need to increase our personnel to match demand. The successful candidate will work as part of the aluminium line and with this being a senior role, there would be an expectation that he/she would form part of the leadership of the team. Duties will include but will not be limited to the following: Work as part of the aluminium production line in the main. Interpret fabrication drawings and details from the office to assist with production Ensure the production line is as efficient as possible by assisting the factory manager. Ensure work areas are kept clean and tidy with no tools or accessories lying around. Help out in other areas of the factory as required. The successful candidate will possess the following: 5-8 years of experience in a similar role. Display advance knowledge of manufacture and assembly of aluminium glazed elements (Windows, doors, curtain wall). Computer Skills are advantageous but not essential. Knowledge of CNC machining is advantageous but not essential. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
