We are currently recruiting for a Sales Executive at The Lough Rea Hotel & Spa.The Role:Responsible for managing reservations efficiently, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a smooth booking experience.Reporting to:The Sales Administrator will report directly to The Wedding & Sales Manager.The Ideal Person:The ideal Reservations Executive is self-motivated, organised, and able to prioritise tasks effectively. They possess excellent customer service skills and a good understanding of the hospitality industry. Familiarity with Opera is a plus.ResponsibilitiesManage telephone and email enquiriesIdentify new contacts, develop sales leads, and respond to sales opportunities in order to maximise revenueProduce quotations and written confirmation to all clientsTo ensure that all business leads and opportunities are followed up in a timely manner including enquiries and provisional bookings.Ensure bookings are guaranteed and no show charges/late cancellation charges are applied where appropriateTo deal with all clients in a professional and friendly mannerUse of onsite computer systems including OperaLiaise regularly with relevant managers in relation to reservationsThe Hotel:Lough Rea Hotel and Spa is one of the most highly recommended and well known venues in Galway.
