Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes that meet the agreed standards.
The successful candidate will have 2 years' experience in a similar role and be able to showcase available local and seasonal ingredients. They will also be able to manage stocks effectively, avoid unnecessary wastage, and maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:
* Daily food preparation, meeting quality and safety standards
* Maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and adhering to health and safety procedures
* Ensuring all dishes leaving the kitchen are prepared and presented to agreed standards
* Managing stocks and minimizing waste
* Assisting in developing daily and seasonal menu items
* Operating and maintaining all kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Requirements:
* 2 years' experience as Chef de Partie in a busy kitchen
* Ability to showcase available local and seasonal ingredients
* Good communication and teamwork skills
