We are seeking a skilled professional to manage import/export compliance and operational activities across EU manufacturing sites and BPO partners.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure adherence to Customs Law by resolving border delays and managing import/export activities.
* Act as the secondary point of contact with customs authorities to address requests for audits and inspections.
* Advise teams on import/export requirements, including documentation, tariff classification, valuation, and origin determination.
* Maintain accurate trade data for operations and assist in monitoring related systems.
* Track regulatory changes in trade compliance and communicate impacts to stakeholders.
* Develop strategies and controls to address trade compliance issues and process improvements.
* Lead or contribute to projects aimed at increasing efficiency and reducing costs.
Requirements:
* 3-5 years of experience in customs authority, logistics/supply chain, or consulting firm.
* Knowledge of Administration, Foreign Trade Law, Customs Law, Tariff Codes.
* Knowledge on import/export regulations and activities.
* Proactive, negotiation and flexibility abilities.
* Strong communication skills.
* Systems knowledge in MS Office, Visio, SAP GTS, ECC and BW.
