At MyHomeCare, we are recruiting registered general/paediatric nurses to join our team in Delvin, Westmeath.
The role involves working one-on-one with a child in their own home.
The ideal candidate would have previous experience working one-on-one with children in their own home and would also be a compassionate and reliable individual capable of working on their own initiative.
We currently have 30 hours per week available, Monday to Saturday.
Shift pattern: Monday - Saturday, 7am-10am & 5pm-9pm

Requirements for My Homecare Registered Nurses:
* Current and in-date NMBI pin.
* Previous experience working with children.
* Willingness to undergo any required training.
* Garda vetting is required for all nurses.
* Willing to register with the INMO or an affiliated union.
* Full immunizations and vaccination history must be provided.
My Homecare Duties include:
* Medication management.
* Seizure management, including administration of buccal midazolam if required.
* Nebulizer management.
* Pain management.
* Peg feeding.
* Care of children with complex needs/disabilities.
* Airway management.
* Suctioning.
* Moving and handling, hoist, and re-positioning.
* Skin integrity management.
* Maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality.
* Working in a home environment as a lone worker.
* Infection control and disposal of clinical waste.
* CPR training.
Knowledge areas for My Homecare Nurses include:
* Medication administration.
* Peg feeding.
* Pain management.
* Care of children with disabilities.
