Operations Administrator

Company Overview: Company Overview: PITTMAN is a rapidly growing distributor of traffic and safety equipment to the local authority and industrial sectors. This dynamic role involves supporting various functions within the company, including accounts, HR, and daily operations. As an Operations Administrator, you will report to the Operations Manager and Managing Director. Role Purpose:

Support the smooth running of operations, including order fulfilment, vendor management, and logistics.

Requirements:

· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

· Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems; Dynamics 365 experience is a plus

· Effective communicator, both internally and externally

· Capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines

· Self-motivated and process driven

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Sales order fulfilment and processing

· Managing our customer experience

· Acknowledging and processing purchase orders

· Vendor management, including creating and maintaining vendor records

· Coordinating logistics for timely deliveries

· Assisting with general administrative tasks

· Supporting the ISO 9001 Quality Management System

· Working with the IT department on operational system enhancements

· Assisting in identifying cost-reduction opportunities across operations

· Implementing cost-reduction measures in transportation

· Assisting the Operations Manager with Project Management
