Maintenance Engineer We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to provide technical support for manufacturing operations at our site. This is a full-time position that requires strong problem-solving skills and a good understanding of health and safety regulations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all engineering activities are carried out in accordance with health and safety guidelines. They will work continuously to ensure that all scheduled maintenance tasks are completed, diagnose and repair any faults or failures in a timely manner, and identify and implement continuous improvement activities for existing equipment and manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
* To ensure all engineering activities are carried out in compliance with Health and Safety regulations and always encourages safe working practices.
* To work continuously to ensure that all scheduled engineering maintenance tasks are actioned.
* To diagnose and repair any faults or failures in a timely manner.
* To identify and implement continuous improvement activities for existing equipment and manufacturing processes.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* 2 + years experience in a Maintenance Engineering role.
* Experience in automation and control systems including PLCs, CNCs, Pneumatic control systems.
* Relevant engineering qualifications in an electrical, mechanical, or mechatronic discipline.
* A good analytical approach to problem solving.
* Ability to time manage and prioritise tasks.
* Must be able to manage and source spare parts and equipment.
* Must be able to work and communicate well with co-workers and management daily.
