About The Role:
Prosperous Financial has an exciting opportunity for a detail oriented Paraplanner to join our growing team.
The Paraplanner plays a pivotal role within the business, working closely with our Financial Planners to prepare tailored financial plans for our Private & Premier clients.
This role involves producing accurate and insightful reports, collaborating with Financial Planners to enhance client outcomes and contributing to various business projects focused on improving client service and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate shares our core values and brings strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills and experience within the Financial Services industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Financial Planners throughout the advice process, assisting with end to end delivery of financial plans, ensuring each client's objectives are addressed.
Identify and propose appropriate financial planning strategies aligned with clients' short and long term goals, covering areas such as pensions, investments and protection.
Attend client meetings alongside Financial Planners to provide technical expertise, take detailed notes and ensure all necessary follow up actions and documentation are captured and completed.
Critically assess and verify data and documents received from clients, planners and third parties to ensure accuracy, completeness and suitability for use in advice formulation.
Conduct thorough research into financial products and solutions including investments and pensions.
Analyse product suitability and compile technical comparisons to support bespoke client recommendations.
Draft clear, compliant and technically accurate reports and supporting documentation in line with internal and regulatory standards.
Assist in preparing for client annual review meetings by updating financial information and drafting review reports that clearly communicate findings and recommendations.
Skills And Experience:
Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA) required
Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) is desired
Excellent knowledge of financial services along with the ability to create a financial plan based around the clients goals and ambitions
Strong communicator with the ability to interact with clients in a professional manner
Ability to work as part of a team and cross functionally
Knowledge of Voyant would be a significant advantage
