Job Description
This role is responsible for leading and supporting site safety, managing site quality assurance, and overseeing project costs.
* Collaborate with the safety team to ensure a safe working environment.
* Work closely with the QA Manager to manage site quality assurance.
* Assist in maintaining and tracking the project schedule.
* Oversee and control project costs, including labour, materials, plant, and variations.
* Supervise day-to-day site operations and ensure progress aligns with project goals.
* Manage the on-site team and coordinate across all disciplines.
* Monitor subcontractor performance, progress, and manpower levels.
* Conduct weekly coordination meetings with subcontractors and package leads.
* Manage snagging and punch lists in support of QA/QC.
* Report labour hours for direct staff and subcontractors.
* Lead site meetings and reviews throughout the project lifecycle.
About You
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in a Mechanical Construction Manager role or similar.
* Trade background or relevant third-level qualification in engineering or construction.
* Proven ability to manage teams, subcontractors, and construction programmes effectively.
* A strong knowledge of the complete design and construction lifecycle.
* Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale construction projects.
* A full, clean driver's licence.
